POLICY ON LANDSCAPING AND YARD MAINTENANCE
The Westlake Homeowners Association’sDeclaration of Covenants and Restrictions, Amended Bylaws, and Community Guidelines (together known as the HOA Policies) provide the following rules and guidelines on maintenance of homeowner yards:
AMENDED DECLARATION OF COVENANTS AND RESTRICTIONS
Article 8
Sec 1 -
30 day notice required
After that Board can improve yard appearance
Sec 2 – Failure to maintain structure in good repair and appearance – 3 month notice required
Sec 3 – Costs will be charged to the homeowner
AMENDED BYLAWS
Article 7.1a – maintain good appearance and condition of lot and improvements
Article 7.3 – violation or breach of any bylaw shall give the Board the right to enter a lot, with any
expense incurred to remedy issue will be assessed against the responsible Member

Yards and exterior appearances will be maintained in a neat and attractive manner, in good repair and appearance. If the Board receives a complaint regarding a homeowner whose landscaping and yard maintenance appears to be in violation of these guidelines, or if the Board observes a violation in its periodic walks of our neighborhood, the Board will determine if the subject property does not meet the standards outlined above.
